Valley Metro Special Track Tie-In Installation: Phase 2B

| Phase 2A of the ongoing special track installation in the Downtown Hub will begin May 13! CityScape businesses and parking garages will remain open during the construction. Please refer to the map above for construction traffic flow and parking garage entrance locations.
Construction will impact vehicular traffic and pedestrian accessibility in Downtown Phoenix. These restrictions include:
- Washington Street will be closed at 1st Avenue.
- One through lane will be maintained on 1st Avenue.
- Access to Jefferson Street from Central Avenue to remain closed.
- The 1st Avenue slip lane onto Washington Street will be maintained.
Please note that this work will take place 24/7 with loud noise to be expected during the day.
Light Rail Service Impacts
This work will also bring new impacts to the light rail. Through July 2, all light rail trains are estimated to arrive at station platforms every 20 minutes. Riders are asked to plan ahead to ensure timely arrivals at their destination. To learn more about station closures that will be in effect, visit valleymetro.org/pardonourprogress.
